Martinez & Associates Win New Technology Service Contracts

| HARTFORD - The information service provider to Connecticut state and municipal governments, Martinez & Associates, has added more public contracts to its roster. Martinez has been named the technology provider to the Capitol City Economic Development Authority, as well as having been awarded the following additional public and/or municipal contracts: The state's Department of Consumer Protection selected Martinez to replace its outdated computer system with a Local Area Network and computer servers. The Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) has made Martinez its on-site manager responsible for assisting DCP and DCP's prime contractor, CAVU Corp., in implementing a new licensing-management system which will allow consumers to spend their time online rather than in line. Also, the consolidated municipality of Windham/Willimantic has chosen Martinez as its Y2K information technology service provider with responsibilities for supporting the town with equipment and software systems for Y2K compliance, and servicing the town by building infrastructure with embedded chip systems for Y2K compliance.
