MIDDLETOWN - Relocating from Simsbury, FarPoint Solutions, an information technology company, opened new headquarters on Court Street in downtown Middletown. FarPoint Solutions provides IT services such as network installation and maintenance, hardware/software integration and customized programming for mid-sized information-intensive companies. The company is also a Compaq equipment vendor, counting several state agencies and companies among its client base.
“Our new facility gives us the space we need to grow and Middletown is the perfect central location for us to provide services to businesses along the I-91 corridor and in the heart of Connecticut,” says Jim Pepitone, FarPoint's chief operating officer. The move allows FarPoint to double its office space and offer customers expanded services, adds Pepitone.
