Goodwick and Clients on Fast Track
NEWTOWN - David Goodwick, president of Goodwick Associates, sees his firm as a soup-to-nuts agency that offers the full roll call of marketing and advertising capabilities. Yet, he notes, We have also carved out a niche as a services-for-hire complement to some of the state's fastest-growing high-tech firms.
As proof, he cites the number of his clients who made the Connecticut Technology Council's recently announced Fast 50 list. The Fast 50 program, which is co-sponsored by the CTC, Deloitte & Touche, NASDAQ, Pullman & Comley, Royal & SunAlliance Insurance, BT Alex.Brown and People's Bank, measures percentage revenue growth for Connecticut-headquartered firms over a five-year period ending 1997.
Among recent Fast 50 clients to which Goodwick Associates has supplied strategic support is FlexiInternational Software Inc. The Shelton company ranked No. 1 on the list, with five-year revenue growth of 13,851 percent.
Triple Point Technology, rated No. 3 with revenue growth of 3,462 percent, is a current Goodwick client. The Westport firm also ranked No. 52 on the 1998 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
Other recent Goodwick clients among the Fast 50 include Information Management Associates Inc. in Shelton; Ivans Inc. of Greenwich; and Memry Corp., Photronics Inc. and Trident International Inc., all of Brookfield.
Goodwick Associates is the agency of record for a number of nationally prominent technology companies, including Jannon Group, Network Synergy and Innovative Information Solutions Inc., and has recently completed projects for IBM and Oracle Corp.
And how does Goodwick Associates keep up with its fast-track clients? By winning an award for excellence in communication and graphic design in the 1998 American Graphic Design Award competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA - an honor that recognized the firm among the top seven percent of entries in the self-promotional category.
