STAMFORD - General Electric Capital, a unit of the General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE), has also agreed to purchase from Zurich Financial Services the Eagle Star Reinsurance Co. Ltd., located in Great Britain. GE Capital plans to fold the new acquisition into its Employers Reinsurance Corp.
