WALLINGFORD - Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (NYSE: BMY) has opened a 120,000-square-foot addition to its Pharmaceutical Research Institute, including laboratories for drug discovery and high-throughput screening. The addition also houses a system for high-speed robotic compound storage and retrieval. The company will have the capability to screen more than 100,000 compounds a day. Previously, such volume would take a month to process.
