BRIDGEPORT - A subsidiary of Connecticut Energy Corp. (NYSE: CNE), CNE Energy Services Group Inc. and Conective (NYSE: CIV) received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory commission (FERC) for market-based tariffs for their joint venture Total Peaking Services LLC. This approval allows for the commencement of operation of a liquid natural-gas storage facility located in Milford. This facility will provide services to customers for the storage and liquefaction of natural gas. Connecticut Energy is a retail distributor of natural gas and also provides energy-related services and products to its customers. Conectiv, based in Delaware, has operations in five states and provides electric and gas services to its customers.
