Businesses Hang Out in Hamden

Hamden Mayor Barbara A. DeNicola and Economic Development Director Peggy Brennan August 3 announced a new initiative to promote Hamden businesses.
Two town businesses at a time will be chosen to display their products and marketing materials in the rotunda of Memorial Town Hall. “We want to give these businesses the forum to show off their wares and publicly thank them for being part of the Hamden business community,” said DeNicola.
The first two businesses chosen are High Precision, a small manufacturer of power and hand tools, and Rollins Printing Inc., one of the first quick-print shops in the area when it was established 25 years ago.
The Town Hall displays are in conjunction with the mayor's “Barbara Backs Business” campaign, which also includes monthly walking tours of Hamden business districts.
