Microtech Launches Low-Cost Card Reader

EAST HAVEN - Microtech International recently introduced its new CameraMate PC Card Reader, which supports a wide range of media formats, at the Photo Marketing Association's annual meeting in New Orleans. Priced at less than $100, CameraMate is equipped with a standard PC Card slot capable of accommodating Type I, II or III ATA devices and features a parallel interface, allowing it to be connected to virtually every Windows PC on the market. Adding to its extensive line of card media, Microtech also introduced a new 45MB Compact FlashFilm card, which now provides the highest native capacity in CompactFlash storage on the market.
