EAST HARTFORD - The first survey to study the culture of Connecticut's businesses regarding voluntarism and charitable giving will be conducted this fall by the University of Connecticut's Center for Survey Research and Analysis (CSRA). The 15-minute telephone survey, a project of the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy in partnership with CBIA, the Connecticut Technology Council, local chambers of commerce and others, will collect information from 400 businesses across the state. The goal is to create a picture of the significant contribution Connecticut businesses make to their communities and to understand the corporate culture that underlies business giving in Connecticut. Aggregated results of the survey will be available this winter. For particulars, call the Council for Philanthropy at 860-525-5585.
