Business New Haven

As a practitioner of eclecticism, I can appreciate your continuing excellent coverage of all fronts related to business. In fact, you may recall some years back my skepticism of the possible life expectancy of a local business publication, based largely on the demise of other similar ventures in New Haven.
You have done a dynamite job for this region, especially in the emergence of regionalism as a growing, seminal anthem for southern Connecticut business and industry.
I applaud Business New Haven also for its entrance into the broadcast medium with a partnership radio program together with Matt Nemerson of the [Greater New Haven] Chamber of Commerce. [On February 4] I heard a conversation with David Carson, CEO of People's Bank.
I never realized the dimensions of Mr. Carson's involvement with many social and educational programs on a personal level. As BNH's Businessperson of the Year, it's obvious your perception of quality extends far beyond your publication itself.
I continue to read each issue front to back. It has become inseparable with the rising economic climate of the area.
Keep it going.

Editor's note: The program to which Mr. Madison refers is called Business Wednesday from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays on WELI (960 AM) radio, co-hosted by chamber President Nemerson and BNH Editor Michael C. Bingham.
