Barnum Museum 820 Main Street, Bridgeport (203-331-1104). Chronicling the life and times of P.T. Barnum and Victorian architecture, the museum's newer exhibition wing by architect Richard Meier is available for corporate and non-profit functions. No private parties. Smaller meetings can be held in classroom/activities room, 60 theater-style and 48 seated. Available 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., the rate is $100 per hour for a minimum of two hours and $50 for each additional hour. Guests get group rate entrance for $4 per person ($5 regular). After 5 p.m., the 5,000-square-foot exhibition room is available. Exhibits change two to three times a year. Rental is $1,000 per three hours, plus $100 for each additional hour. CAPS Alternative Business Center 1 Enterprise Drive, Shelton (203-925-3900). CAPS offers a high-tech facility to companies for off-site computer training, meetings and seminars. Two high-tech classrooms (1,000 and 1,500 square feet) with voice and data cabling at each desk and can be equipped by CAPS with IBM-compatible PCs or customers can bring their own laptops. Other 1,000-square-foot room can be arranged according to customer needs, such as theater-style or U-shaped seating. Rooms $150 to $250 per day and $30 per PC, per day.
