SHELTON - After 37 years of calling Norwalk home, Digitron Firing Circuits has moved to the Shelton Technology Center. The company's new home combines 18,000 square feet of office space with a 24,000-square-foot production floor. The single-floor plan will allow corporate offices and lab spaces to sit side by side. Digitron Firing Circuits makes equipment for manufacturing and testing batteries and also provides training and technical support to its clients. The company specializes in computer-controlled formation and test systems for batteries, ranging from tiny Lithium batteries in cell phones through automotive batteries to the batteries powering multi-thousand-ton submarines. Digatron Firing Circuits is an international group of companies with engineering, manufacturing and service facilities located in Germany, France, the U.S. and China.
