Phil Barber, an 18-year real estate professional and former owner
of Barber Real Estate in North Haven, has joined Calcagni Commercial Real Estate in Cheshire.
The Connecticut Building Congress (CBC), a 300-member statewide organization of business and professional people from throughout the construction industry, has elected Ridgefield mechanical contractor George Mulvaney its 1997-98 president.. Mulvaney was also re-elected to a third term as president of the Hamden-based Mechanical Contractors Association of Connecticut (MCAC). The association comprises many of the state's leading unionized mechanical, plumbing and piping contractors. MCAC is the single entity in Connecticut which negotiates the statewide collective bargaining agreement with UA Local 777.
