Anthem BCBS Medicare Members Save with ‘ScriptSave’

NORTH HAVEN - Over a nine-month period ending in July, eligible Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield Medicare members in Connecticut will have saved more than $2.9 million on over 260,000 prescriptions with ScriptSave, a value-added discount prescription drug program. ScriptSave allows eligible Medicare members to receive five- to 35-percent discounts off the average wholesale price of generic and brand prescriptions at ScriptSave-contracted pharmacies.
In addition, eligible Anthem Medigap member can participate in “Healthy Opportunities,” a value-added program that provides discounts on health-related products and services, health education material, and prevention programs; and “SilverSneakers,” an exercise program specifically designed to meet the needs of older adults.
