NEW HAVEN - Southern New England Telecommunications (NYSE: SNG) will cooperate with 3Com Corp. to offer remote-access business services. Connecticut business users will be able to securely access nationwide corporate internal networks over local phone numbers or ISDN lines. By employing the 3Com technology and SNET lines, businesses will save on both long-distance charges and remote-access equipment.
