The Connecticut chapter of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Members) hopes to introduce potential commercial real-estate borrowers to lenders during an October 9 cruise on the Connecticut River. Those who need financing for a commercial real-estate venture will have the opportunity to meet with up to ten lenders who are ready to talk turkey. The Camelot Cruise Line ship will board passengers at 3 p.m. for a 3:30 sail; the cruise will last until approximately 6:30. Says CCIM program chairman Bill Porter, “It's the best one-stop shopping experience [attendees] will ever have.” He notes that participating lenders offer a range of special lending programs tailored to the needs of individual projects.
