Bridgeport gets IT

| BRIDGEPORT - Martinez & Associates, an information technology consulting company, has expanded from its Hartford headquarters into Bridgeport. Company founder and president Michael J. Martinez announced the opening of a Bridgeport office at 49 Cannon Street, Suite 200. Martinez explains the expansion into Fairfield County: "We have a growing number of clients in that area of the state, including the city of Bridgeport itself, and we feel we need a presence there to better serve our existing clients and grow our market share. Everyone knows that Bridgeport is a city undergoing a real renaissance, and Fairfield County is the seat of many corporate headquarters." Martinez & Associates won a municipal contract to provide IT consulting to Bridgeport's health services.
