Photronics Applies Advanced Reticle Technology

BROOKFIELD - Completing a joint development project, Photronics Inc. announced that it provided Cypress Semiconductor, an international supplier of high-performance integrated circuits, with the advanced reticle technology needed to produce the company's first 0.25 micron technology product. Photronics is a leading provider of photomasks, which are used to transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers during the fabrication of integrated circuits. It manufactures them in 12 locations worldwide, including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Texas, Germany, Singapore, Korea, Switzerland and the UK.
