An environmental novel whose hero battles the diminishing of the earth's ozone layer, The Man Who Watched Trash, has hit the dumpsters. Russ Madison, president and creative director of Lone Wolf Advertising in Woodbridge, has had his second novel published. Madison's first novel, Victory Among the Insane, received wide critical acclaim. Victory was published over thirty years ago and will be reissued in 2002.
The hero of Madison's latest novel, a Harvard dropout who works in a landfill, then navigates the Arctic iceberg into New York Harbor, is the arch-environmentalist destined to attract world attention to the demise of the ozone layer.
