NEW HAVEN ‹ A symposium on Sales & Marketing: Theory, Techniques & Tools will take place on June 20 at the Community Outreach Center, 654 Orchard Street from 12:305 p.m. The event will feature speakers who are experts in their fields and can provide real-life examples of successful sales and marketing techniques that can be used by all businesses to gain new customers or retain existing customers, explains Cornell Wright of the Parker Wright Group. Featured workshops include How Telecommunications Influences Marketing, The How-Tos of Executive Marketing and others. A panel discussion will focus on The Power of Networking. The event will be followed by Business After Hours from 5:307:30 p.m.
The Greater New Haven Business & Professional Association has been providing technical assistance and practical business development tools for area businesses for more than 35 years and sponsors the symposium in collaboration with the Community Economic Development Fund, the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven.
