ROCKY HILL - Connecticut United for Research Excellence (CURE) earlier this month signed a lease with Winstanley Enterprises, LLC for some 3,000 square feet of office space at the 300 George Street Technology Center in New Haven. Carter Winstanley negotiated the five-year contract directly with CURE.
Said CURE President Debra K. Pasquale, An office in south-central Connecticut made the best business sense for us. With a growing and the highest concentration of bioscience cluster members statewide plus CURE's initiatives to engage members in collaborative activities, the New Haven region was the right choice.
For the last three years CURE has been based in Rocky Hill. CURE expects to occupy its new offices early next month.
Concord, Mass.-based Winstanley Enterprises owns and manages the 520,000-square-foot former SNET building at 300 George Street. Tenants include Rib-X Pharmaceuticals, Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Molecular Staging and Sopherion Therapeutics.
