WEST HAVEN - Following a “seven-figure” gift from the Louis and Mary Tagliatela Charitable Foundation founded by the eponymous Hamden resident and his family, the University of New Haven's School of Hospitality & Tourism was earlier this month renamed the Tagliatela School of Hospitality & Tourism. UNH President Lawrence J. DeNardis Jr. said the family's gift would be used to enhance industry-related enrollment, outreach and facilities, as well as to support curriculum and faculty development.
