WEST HAVEN - Campbell Avenue, the commercial heart of West Haven, has attracted new businesses including Cingular Wireless that recently opened its doors at 616 Campbell Avenue. It is the second largest wireless company in the U.S.Cingular provides cellular/PCS service in 42 of the top 50 markets nationwide, covering more than 93 percent of the urban business population. The cellular provider will offer a full line of cellular phones and accessories from the new location.
Shaw's Hairdressers & School of Cosmetology moved operations from New Haven to 421 Campbell Avenue last month.
Pizzeria Two Tomatoes also recently opened on Campbell Avenue. The location has been home to three different pizza restaurants in the past two years.
Also in West Haven, the Nail Bar moved from its Second Avenue location to a slightly larger, newly renovated storefront, and a much more traveled location at 419 First Avenue (at the intersection of First Avenue and Elm Street). The Nail Bar specializes in manicures and pedicures, and moved into the space that was formerly occupied by Bunnie's Hair Machine.
