BRANFORD - CuraGen Corp. (NASDAQ: CRGN), an integrated genomics-based pharmaceutical company, has elected of David R. Ebsworth, former president and general manager of the Pharmaceutical Business Group for Bayer AG, and John H. Forsgren, vice chairman and chief financial officer of the Northeast Utilities system (NU), to CuraGen's board of directors. In addition, CuraGen announced that Richard H. Booth, chief executive officer of HSB Group, has stepped down from the board but will remain an advisor to the company.
