Yale Bookstore Gets Medical Cousin

NEW HAVEN - A new bookstore specializing in books and equipment for medical workers has opened on the campus of the Yale School of Medicine. The Yale Medical Bookstore at 320 Congress Avenue, like its Broadway cousin, is managed by Barnes & Noble. The facility, says manager Don Levy, offers one-stop shopping for medical professionals. “I've been amazed at the overwhelmingly positive response the store has been receiving from customers,” he says. “Getting to flip through the pages of several top books before you buy one is much more satisfying than hoping you've picked the right book from a Web site.”
