DSLN Acquires Lines

NEW HAVEN - DSL.net Inc. (NASDAQ: DSLN), a direct provider of high-speed Internet access solutions for small- to mid-sized businesses, has entered into an agreement to purchase DSL lines from Aplus.Net, a division of Abacus America Inc. Broadband customers to be acquired by DSL.net will be transitioned to DSL.net's network on or before September 1. DSL.net has extensive experience in transitioning customers from other carriers to its network and has established a special process to facilitate such transitions.
Explained DSLN Chairman and CEO David F. Struwas: We intend to continue to pursue external growth opportunities in order to reach our objectives of becoming adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow-positive. We believe that this acquisition will further our efforts to achieve these objectives.
