BRIDGEPORT - Peolpe's Bank (NASDAQ:PBCT) and the University of Connecticut earlier this month announced new partnerships between the bank and the school's Dividion of Athletics and the UConn Co-op. Through these partnerships, People's will support UConn's nationally recognized sports programs as "the official banking partner of the UConn Division of Athletics," and will serve the university community's financial needs through a new branch office in the new UConn Co-op.
The ten-year partnerships broaden as established relationship between the two Connecticut institutions.
