NORTH HAVEN - BJ's Wholesale Club on Universal Drive has added a new offering to its vast retail offerings: gasoline.
Six double-sided fuel pumps and dispensing equipment were opened at the BJ's site last month. The pumps are activated by a bar-coded BJ's membership card. Non-members may also purchase fuel at the pumps, albeit at non-member (higher) prices. In Connecticut, the Natick, Mass.-based BJ's has also added fuel pumps at its stores in Waterford and West Hartford.
