NEW HAVEN - Douglas Kridler, president of the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA), which manages the Shubert Performing Arts Center in New Haven, will leave his job in February. The city hired CAPA - which Kridler has run for 17 years - to manage the Shubert in July. The decision to retain an outside management firm came after the theater in March reported that it would post a $1.2 million budget deficit by year's end. Kridler will assume a position with the Columbus Foundation, a community organization in Ohio.
