SHELTON - Digatron Firing Circuits, a manufacturer of battery test and formation products, has introduced a BC/HD (battery charging/high density) battery formation rectifier. The system represents the latest generation of plug-in module cabinets and is designed primarily for the formation of automotive, or flooded, lead acid batteries (but is also well-suited to VRLA applications, the company says).
The Firing Circuits modularized system offers updated electronics with all control circuitry located on a single PC board. BC/HD systems are available with output currents of ten to 60 amperes and output voltages up to 450 VDC.
