SHELTON - Auto dealership Crabtree of Shelton has undergone a $1.5 million expansion, doubling the size of its body shop. The dealership acquired an adjacent 2.5-acre parcel and a 90,000-square-foot building that previously housed B&B Indoor Training, at 413 Bridgeport Avenue. General Manager Joe Crabtree says he has hired 20 additional employees to staff the expanded facility, and more than doubled the size of its collision-repair center from 17 to 35 bays for body and paint work. Crabtree sells Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Subaru and Kia automobiles and trucks.
