Distance Learning Gets Helping Hand

| NEW BRITAIN - The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC) has been awarded a three-year, $450,889 grant for the development of improved academic services for online college students in the state. These include creation of an electronic academic portfolio platform, online tutoring and technology training. The grant is a product of the federal Department of Education's Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE); the five-year-old CTDLC is one of 60 awardees nationwide.
