| MILFORD - The Downtown Milford Business Association has organized the first-ever "Milford Lamplight Stroll," which will take place December 12. The event will feature 28 downtown stores, which will stay open until at least 9 p.m. on December 12. In addition, each store will have extended business hours through the weekend to December 15. According to organizers, the purpose of the event is to introduce shoppers to new businesses that have opened in recent months. The holiday event will also feature a passport competition. Six thousand passport books will be handed out to shoppers, inviting them to travel to the 28 different shops and get a stamp. Shoppers with all 28 stamps become eligible for a raffle that will have prizes ranging from dinners at local restaurants to stays at city hotels.
