| NEW HAVEN - Cardiology Associates of New Haven has been named an accredited Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL). Nuclear cardiology studies are non-invasive diagnostic tests that assess a heart's blood flow and pumping function while the patient is at rest and during exercise. They allow physicians to view actual moving blood flow and blockages with the help of an imaging agent administered intravenously.
