HARTFORD - WTNH-TV news staffers took home several honors November 22 at the Connecticut Associated Press Broadcasters Association annual awards at the Hartford Hilton. Among them were first place in the breaking news for a New Haven police officer shooting story; first place in general news to reporter Erin Cox and photographer Al Mack for “Waterbury Mayor's Number”; and first place in the investigative news category for “Hamden Cemetery Investigation” by reporter Alan Cohn and photographer Keith Porter. The group also awarded 'TNH first place in the station Web site category for www.wtnh.com.
