WCTX Debuts Digital Broadcasts

NEW HAVEN - Area television viewers can now watch their favorite WCTX-TV and UPN programming in digital format. On December 6, the sister station of New Haven's WTNH-TV began broadcasting in digital full-time on DT Channel 39. Station President and General Manager Jon Hitchcock calls the transition to digital “only the beginning if what WCTX-DT viewers will experience as more and more programs are produced in high definition. WTNH and WCTX are owned by the Providence, R.I.-based LIN Television Corp.
