PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Citizens Bank announced that it would reward employees with a success bonus this Thanksgiving in recognition of the bank's substantial growth in 2001. Bonuses ranging from $100 to $400, based on length of tenure, were to be awarded to employees with more than one year of service. Citizens has earmarked a total of $1.7 million for employee bonuses.
This is the bank's way of saying thank you to the thousands of employees who make it possible for us to grow and succeed, said Citizens president and CEO Lawrence K. Fish. The kind of growth we've had this year is a direct result of the hard work of our employees, and we are pleased to share the bank's success. It is also our contribution to help stimulate the region's economy.
