HAMDEN - The School of Business at Quinnipiac University will offer two new master's-level programs in the spring. The master of science in accounting program builds on students' undergraduate education in accounting or related fields to meet the emerging needs of the accounting profession. Students will be exposed to core competencies identified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as necessary for entry into the accounting profession. Also, those who complete the program meet the 150-hour program requirement to sit for the CPA exam in Connecticut and most other states.
The master of science in computer information systems is designed for those who wish to increase their knowledge of the computer information systems field in general and to greatly improve their expertise by focusing in selected areas of concentration. The curriculum provides students with the skills necessary to effectively function at an advanced level and ensures that they are up-to-date as possible on all aspects of this rapidly changing and growing field.
