| NEW HAVEN - Chapel Haven has created a Business Advisory Council (BAC) in support of a new entrepreneurship training program for students. The New Haven non-profit organization helps adult students with cognitive disabilities become independent. The Shelby Collum Davis Foundation recently awarded Chapel Haven $48,000 to launch the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) program. NFTE consists of a nine-month classroom curriculum and a three-month local business internship. BAC members include the New Haven Ravens, the Veterans Administration Hospital, Gateway Community College, Connecticut Job Corps and Peppercorn's Restaurant of Westville.
