MADISON - Continuum Performance Systems, which develops enrollment systems for government insurance programs, will open a new research-and-development center at 634 Boston Post Road in Madison. "Our clients are continually demanding more sophisticated systems to keep up with ever-changing government regulations", said Brad Turley, Continuum's president. "We've had to add to our development staff for our core client-server product as well as increase our Web efforts. Based on the options, it was best to open an independent location where the developers could focus on new initiatives."
Turley says he anticipates augmenting his company's 20-worker workforce by about 20 percent by mid-year to meet demand. The new R&D center will open this month, the company said.
