| WATERBURY - Albert Brothers, one of New England's largest scrap-metal processors and recycling plants, has upgraded its East Aurora Street facility with a new, more efficient baler. Used primarily for aluminum, the device can compress 5,000 to 6,000 pounds of metal at a time. Bales are stored on site until ready to ship. In business for more than a century, Albert Bros. is a fourth-generation family-owned and -operated company.
