| DERBY - Consolidated Contractors Inc. has been selected to convert the former Derby Savings Bank on Elizabeth Street into Derby's new City Hall. The Milford firm bid $726,000 on the project, the lowest of 14 bids submitted. Consolidated has previously worked on the Bridgeport Railway Station and Bridgeport Community Health Center. It is now working on the West Haven City Hall. The city purchased the former bank building at Elizabeth and Main streets in 2000 for $245,000. The 20,000-square-foot site is almost twice the size of the current City Hall.
