Former Mexican president Ernesto Zedillo, director of the Yale Center for Study of Globalization, will lecture on "The Effect of Globalization on Latin America." Zedillo was elected president of Mexico in 1994. Since leaving office, he has received honors and decorations from the governments of 32 nations. In May 2001, Yale University granted him both its Wilbur Cross Medal and an honorary doctorate of laws degree.
