LEASES
Preferred Tool & Die Inc. recently leased 10,000 square feet of industrial space at 261 Pepe's Farm Road, Milford, which brings the building to 100-percent occupancy. Preferred Tool & Die acquired Shelton Precision, a precision machining company. Shelton Precision has been renamed Preferred Precision, the machining division of Preferred Tool & Die. Shelton Precision specialized in precision machining for industries including medical and aerospace. The acquisition combines the manufacturing and engineering strengths of both companies to offer customers a wider variety of both products and services. Preferred Precision will house its operations in the Milford location. Angel Commercial represented the tenant and landlord in the transactions.
Metroguard Inc. has leased new office space at 338 Commerce Drive, Fairfield. The occupancy was arranged as a sublease through an existing tenant, Connect Computers. Metroguard provides alarm response and security services. The new location allows for growth and more efficient operations. Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, and partner Vidal/Wettenstein, LLC, were listing brokers and represented the tenant.
HK Group has announced the lease of 28,000 square feet of office space in Corporate Campus, 476 Wheeler's Farm Road, Milford, by Matrix One Inc. of Chelmsford, Mass. A major division of the company now located in 10,000 square feet in Shelton will be relocated to the Milford site.
