NEW HAVEN - E-Skylight.com has announced that it will offer BlueTarp as a payment option for online purchases. BlueTarp offers building contractors and remodelers a way to purchase building materials then track material purchases by job on BlueTarp's secure Web site. The data can then be downloaded directly into a contractor's accounting or spreadsheet software. BlueTarp offers an enhanced purchase-card program for the building material industry. BlueTarp provides contractors with detailed job cost information, linked to a specific job, via the Internet. Building material dealers, such as lumber yards, benefit from increased cash flow, streamlined back office operations and reduced credit risk. The BlueTarp program has received the endorsement of the National Lumber & Building Material Dealer Association, the Southern Building Material Association and the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association.
