Lose weight - win a prize. Nine northern Fairfield County businesses, led by Olympus Personal Training, are offering individuals an incentive to get more fit in the "Body Fat Reduction Contest of the Year." Ten prizes, including a first prize of $1,000, will be awarded to the top ten participants. How it works: Participants who pay a $40 entry fee (ten percent of profits to go to the National Organization for Rare Disorders) must have their body fat measured at Olympus Personal Training in Danbury no later than July 11, then return for re-measurement 140 to 150 days later.
