TRUMBULL - A developer wants to combine three small lots on Monroe Turnpike in Trumbull and build a small shopping center. But first, Victor Catale, principal of CATT Realty, LLC, needs to change the zone classification for the property from industrial to business/commercial. The town's Planning & Zoning Commission made no decision on Catale's application at a June 18 hearing. One of the lots is now the site of a liquor store and a pool supply store. If the zone change is approved, both stores would be relocated into the new shopping center. Catale said he would be unable get the necessary financing for the project until the zone change is approved. The development would include some type of restaurant, he added.
