Transact Snares $4M Order From GTech

| WALLINGFORD - TransAct Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: TACT), a producer of transaction-based printers for customers worldwide, announced that it had received an order for approximately $4 million from GTech Corp. (NYSE: GTK), an information-technology company which provides software, networks and professional services to the lottery and financial-services industries. The order follows the previously announced $4 million order in July from GTech and calls for TransAct's 27-wire custom impact printer specified by GTech under an exclusive OEM agreement. The new order stipulates quantities to be manufactured and delivered from mid-April through mid-August of next year.
