CONSTRUCTION
GUILFORD - Konover Construction Corp. of Farmington has begun work on a new $3.2 million emergency services building behind the Guilford police station. The single-story, 24,250-square-foot structure will house the town's fire trucks, ambulances and other EMS vehicles. The project will consolidate the town's emergency-services departments into one centralized campus. In addition, general contractor Konover is setting up a climbing and repelling practice course on the exterior of a new 56-foot clock tower.
