Hitchcock 'Re-Opens' Orange Store

ORANGE — Hitchcock Fine Home Furnishings "reopened" its Orange retail location at 185 Boston Post Road with a July 31 ribbon-cutting. The 15,000-square-foot store features new bedroom and dining room vignettes, entertainment units, computer armoires, recliners, lamps, rugs and accessories. A feature of the expanded design center, with more than 6,000 fabric and leather upholstery samples, is a computer software program called "Prevue" which will offer consumers a virtual view of how fabrics or colors will look on their furniture selections.
Headquartered in New Hartford, Hitchcock Fine Home Furnishings operates eight retail locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Hitchcock boasts a 180-year-old legacy as a manufacturer and retailer of home furnishings including accessories and rugs.
